A Blast From The Past

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today's post is a little different as i am going to be throwing it back to when i was a kid (when life was great) and sharing some of the things i grew up with, enjoy! You can find all sorts of cool items from your past on the auction site invaluable, which has tons of collectibles.

Heelys:

Now, i never actually owned a pair of these, but they were everywhere when i was a kid. I begged and begged my mum, but she never let me have some:( I'm seriously contemplating buying a pair!

 

Wearing whatever you wanted:

Whether it was a hello kitty top paired with a bright yellow tutu with blue converse i could wear whatever my little heart desired. Comment if you would wear this amazing ensemble down the street or even to school!!

 Picture books:

Some of my favourite books were picture books, like Dr Seuss, postman pat not forgetting each peach pear plum. (Comment if you've heard of this book!)

 

Build a Bear's

I know these are still around but these cuddly toys were the best! I actually still have my Koala and unicorn ones!

Wordart:

Every i.c.t lesson in primary school, was so much fun, purely because we got to use wordart and make posters and that sort of thing. I remember there wasn't a lot of options to choose from, but my favourite was definitely the rainbow one!

Popgirl:

I don't know about you but my favourite t.v channel was popgirl, i watched it in the morning and when i got home from school (i know, the obsession was bad) some of my favourite programmes were, mew mew power, victorious, icarly, trollz, etc.

 

GirlTalk: Magazine:

This was the magazine i got every week, it came with celebrity gossip, free gifts what more could you want in a magazine, right!;)

March Favourites | 2016

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog! Its now April, so its time for my March favourites, enjoy:)

Makeup & Skincare:

Sleek 'a new day' Palette

Only one makeup item for this month, and that is the 'a new day' palette from sleek which is one of their newest ones. I first saw this on Sarocha B's valentines makeup video, it looked gorgeous so of course i had to buy it! The pigmentation is amazing, and it has a range of different colours. 

Aloe Vera Eye Gel

This product has saved my under eyes, i use this every morning to reduce puffiness, it also helps you feel more awake. And the best thing is, its totally natural. I recommend this a lot!

Fashion:

Denim Pinafore

Pinafores have been everywhere i look, so i bought one, this one is from New Look, you can pair it with anything, this is a staple piece for my wardrobe!

 

TV & Film:

Good Morning Call

When i first watched this i wasn't really bothered, but now I'm completely obsessed! Its based in Japan, its very different to the things i usually watch, but that's why i love it!

Reign

This show is all about Queen Mary of Scot's life, all i can say is its really good and you should go watch it!

(both of these shows are on netflix!)

Random:

Pusheen Plush

I had been eyeing this plush for a while now, so i saved up and bought it, this is one of those random pointless things that you NEED in your life!

Questions Nobody Asks | Tag

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. I've had writers block, so i decided to do something quick and simple, enjoy!

1. Do you have a nickname?

My best friend calls me Mushu, which is the little red dragon from Mulan!

2. When you're driving do you listen to Cd's, tapes, the radio or nothing?

Well, i don't drive, but when I'm in the car i normally listen to the radio, or listen to music on my phone.

3. Are you an aisle person or a window person?

Definitely a window person, i love to look out and see the land and the clouds, its also a great photo opportunity!

4. How do you relive stress?

Just relax and watch either youtube videos or netflix:)

5. Whats your favourite childhood t.v show?

It has to be saddle club, i used to be obsessed with that show!

6. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I cant actually remember, probably a teacher or a vet.

7. If you could have dinner with three people, who would they be?

That's a really hard question, i would go with Zoe Sugg (obviously), Dylan o Brien and Harry Styles.

8. If you could hire an actor to portray you in a movie, who would you choose?

Lily Collins, all of her movies are amazing and she's one of my favourite actress's!

9. If you could play any instrument, what would you play?

The piano or the guitar.

10. If you could live in one city for the rest of your life, where would you live?

If we're talking in the U.K then Brighton, if we're talking anywhere in the world i would pick Rome.

11. If you could make any fictional character come to life, who would you choose?

Harry Potter, or Clary Fray!

12. What is your song of the week?

Paris from The 1975's new album.

13. Are you patient?

No, I'm probably the most impatient person you'll ever meet, haha!

14. Who would you like to see in concert?

Halsey, Troye Sivan, The 1975 and One Direction.

15. Can you swim well?

I like to think so;)

February Favourites | 2016

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog, sorry i didn't post last week i was busy with homework and all that. Its the end of the month, you know what that means....here's a monthly favourites for you, enjoy!

 

Fashion:

 

 The 1975 Sweatshirt

Only one fashion item this month, and that is this 'The 1975 grey sweatshirt', as you know i love their music, so much so i got some merch! I found this one on amazon for around £15.00, its super comfy and soft too!

 

Books:

My book of the month is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, as always i watched the film first, as it was so good i decided to get the book. I'm only halfway through, but I'm loving it!

Film & T.v:

Snervous:Tyler Oakley

When i saw this on netflix i was so excited, and i watched it straight away of course. Its funny and heartwarming, and i loved every bit of it!

 

Grimm

Oh my god, i don't think Ive ever been so obsessed with a t.v programme (and that's saying something!) i watched the whole three seasons in two weeks. Its the perfect mix of fantasy and real life action. Go watch it now, its on netflix!

 

 Shadow Hunters

If you love the mortal instruments (like me) then you'll love this show, its basically the story in a TV show, but with different actors of course. This is also on netflix.

 

Random:

 

  Chocolate Soya Milk

The one random for this month is chocolate soya milk, i used to have this all the time when i was little, and Ive only just rediscovered it. Its so good, and it has no dairy in:)

Hello everyone, todays post is a little different, because im going to be writing a letter to my 20 year old self, enjoy!

Dear 20 year old me,

Did you pass your IGCSE's? I hope you did:)

Do you have a good job, and more importantly do you love it?

I hope you met lots of new friends and left the bad people behind,

also did you meet your amazing internet friends?

Are you confident in yourself?

Are you healthy and trying not to eat so much junk food;)?

Do you still watch youtube, and have you gotten the courage to start your own channel yet?

As you are 20 years old, im pretty sure you've moved out now, right?

Are you still obsessed with One Direction, The 1975 and Troye Sivan, because thats all you ever listen to right now!

I got this as a set for Christmas, and let me tell you, this smells just like cake, and that's why i love it so much! I will definitely be re buying this.

This has been my second favourite body butter, its for very dry skin, so it leaves your body super moisturised!

If you have read the whats in my bag post, you'll know i keep all my makeup in this when i go out, plus its got a cute peter pan collar on the front!

Stila Hair Refresher

On the days when i don't feel like washing my hair, or i just need to give my hair some volume, i use this, it smells amazing too.

 

Books:

Username Evie by Joe Sugg

 

There's only one book for this month, and that's Joe Suggs Username Evie, i read this in two days, yes its that good! I love graphic novels with all the illustrations in them, i just think the drawings are amazing to look at! Definitely go buy this if you haven't already.

Fashion:

Boyfriend Jeans

Boyfriend jeans have been a big staple in 2015 and also 2016, so i wanted to buy a pair. These ones are from boohoo, they are such good quality, and i think everyone needs a pair in their wardrobe!

Films & TV:

About Time

This film made me cry...twice, I'm so happy i watched it, its one of those films that really makes you think. Go watch it now!

Pretty Little Liars Season 6

When pll came back for a 6th season i was ecstatic, i only started watching it at the start of 2015, but I'm all caught up now! I'm not going to spoil it but you have to watch it.

I know I'm probably a bit late watching this, but a couple of years ago i tryed to get into it but i didn't, then towards the end of 2015 i rediscovered it and now I'm obsessed!

Pillow Talk by Zayn

If you haven't listened to this, where have you been! I didn't know what to expect, but i was pleasantly surprised, its been in my head for quite a while now.

This band is also another rediscovery, i am in love with the lead singers voice, I'm not usually into this kind of music, well i am now!
